Hillwood UK celebrates the sale of Units 6a and 6b at Access @ Eastern Gateway

Hillwood UK is delighted to confirm that it has sold Units 6a and 6b at Eastern Gateway in Ipswich, totalling 1,198 sq m (12,897 sq ft) and 1,694 sq m (18,233 sq ft) respectively, to a local investor.  

Unit 6b will be occupied by the new owner, trading as Exotic Foods Limited, whilst Unit 6a was acquired as an investment, with Hillwood having let the unit last year to Yardminster Limited, part of the Marriott Motor Group (trading as TPS, supplying genuine Volkswagen parts across Suffolk), which relocated from nearby Farthing Road. 

These sales represent the fourth and fifth transactions at Access @ Eastern Gateway over the past 12 months, with Unit 5 (4,090 sq m / 44,022 sq ft) being let to national distributor, Cargo Move, in Autumn last year.

This means that only ONE FINAL unit remains on the popular commercial site - Unit 4, comprising 4,877 sq m (52,491 sq ft). The unit is best-in-class, and is the only brand-new unit that is available for immediate occupation in Ipswich and the surrounding area.

Access @ Eastern Gateway is Ipswich’s premier industrial and logistics site. It is strategically located directly adjacent to Junction 54 of the A14 and approximately two miles west of Ipswich town centre, as well as being convenient for Sizewell C.
