Penn Commercial is proud to sponsor the Longfields Circle inaugural event on 6th June 2024: 'Bringing the value back into networking'

Penn Commercial is proud to be sponsoring the Longfields Circle inaugural event at Seckford Hall on 6th June 2024: 'Bringing the value back into networking'.

Whilst this is a Longfields Circle launch event, the evening will be commemorating the 80th anniversary of the D-Day Landings, with professional 1940s singers, dancers, comedian compere and a three-course meal.

Longfields Circle has been set up by a Suffolk-based Insurance businessman, Luke Broadley, who observed first-hand the challenges faced by independent businesses during the pandemic, particularly in terms of insufficient support and infrastructure. He identified that improved communication channels among business owners and professionals could have, not only strengthened operational resilience, but could also have prevented a number of business closures.

Luke says:

"As the proud owner of East Anglian-based Longfields Insurance, we are already deeply rooted in many local businesses, so - whilst Longfields Circle is a new initiative - the Longfields brand needs no introduction, as we are already central to the business community. Owning a business can be a very lonely place…. but does it need to be? During my visits to various businesses, especially throughout the lockdowns, I noticed a significant opportunity for greater camaraderie among local businesses. Establishing a supportive environment for open dialogue and tapping into a collective pool of knowledge and expertise could have helped them navigate challenges more effectively and sustain their growth despite the storms they face."

"Longfields Circle isn't just about business—it's about building a resilient community, where support, colaboration and empathy flourish. Together, we can improve visibility directly to the end consumer and empower each other to overcome challenges and write a new chapter of success."

Speaking of Penn's sponsorship, Luke adds:

"Penn specialise in commercial property sales and lettings across East Anglia and further afield and they have an excellent local presence, playing a vital role in our local economy which makes it fitting for them to become sponsors. Thank you for continuing to support your local business community."
