We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Commercial Surveyor to drive the growth and performance of our Commercial Agency Division.

Job Overview:

As an experienced Commercial Surveyor, you will be responsible for driving the growth of the business, developing client relationships and ensuring the highest levels of service delivery.

This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent business development and leadership skills to expand Penn Commercial’s market presence and deliver on revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in commercial sales, leasing, and consultancy, including developing relationships with investors, landlords and tenants.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, delivering exceptional service and advice on commercial property matters.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, competition and opportunities in the commercial property sector, providing strategic insights to the Board.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement business strategies to achieve revenue growth, market share expansion and profitability targets.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the Division’s budget, P&L and financial performance, ensuring profitability and efficient resource allocation.
  • Compliance & Best Practice: Ensure that all operations comply with the relevant laws, regulations and industry standards, maintaining 'best practice' in commercial property transactions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and partners, such as Property Management, Valuation and Research, to offer integrated solutions for clients.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in commercial property agency essential.
  • Experienced agency surveyor desirable, but not essential.
  • A track record of successfully driving business growth in commercial property sales and leasing.
  • Strong network within the commercial property sector and established relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Extensive knowledge of local and regional commercial real estate markets.
  • RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) qualification or equivalent is desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
